StreamQueue Privacy Policy

StreamQueue is a household streaming queue and Roku remote utility. This policy explains what information StreamQueue uses and why.

Information We Collect

StreamQueue may collect or store the following information:

• Account information, such as your name, email address, and sign-in provider.
• Household information, such as your household ID, invite codes, and household membership.
• Queue items you add, including title, streaming service, season or episode details, and who added the item.
• Roku device information discovered on your local network, such as device name, location, IP address, serial-derived device identifier, and Roku OS version.
• Basic app data needed to sync your list and keep the app working.

StreamQueue does not collect payment information.

How We Use Information

StreamQueue uses this information to:

• Sign you in.
• Sync your household queue across devices.
• Show who added items to the queue.
• Discover Roku devices on your home network.
• Launch streaming apps and send Roku remote commands.
• Help troubleshoot app behavior.

Local Network Access

StreamQueue uses local network access to find and control Roku devices on your home Wi-Fi network.

Roku control only works when your phone and Roku are on the same local network. StreamQueue does not use local network access to scan unrelated devices or collect information outside what is needed to discover and control Roku devices.

Third-Party Services

StreamQueue uses third-party services to operate:

• Firebase, for authentication and cloud sync.
• JustWatch or a similar streaming content directory, for title search and streaming availability.
• Apple, Google, or email authentication providers, depending on how you sign in.

These services may process information according to their own privacy policies.

Data Sharing

StreamQueue does not sell your personal information.

Your queue and household data are shared only with members of your StreamQueue household. Streaming availability lookups may be sent to the content directory provider as needed to search titles and resolve availability.

Data Retention

StreamQueue keeps your account, household, device, and queue data for as long as your account or household remains active, unless deletion is requested or the data is no longer needed to provide the service.

Children’s Privacy

StreamQueue is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through StreamQueue, contact support so the information can be reviewed or removed.
